MY OPINION ABOUT THE RENAISSANCE.

Renaissance is a time period for towns to grow, knowledge to be nurtured, and voyages to embark the search for spices and discover new lands and treasures.

THE RENAISSANCE ART

Mona Lisa - is one of the most eminent paintings of the original renaissance man Leonardo Da Vinci. For me Mona Lisa is the basis of the painters for exellence .

David - The hottest ( or handsome in the textbook word ) sculpture of the renaissance, and created by a genius himself, Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni a man with many names (literally), in my opinion this statue represents freedom and democratic rights and the exemplar for the younger generations to always have hope in life.

Ginevra de' Benci - this girl unlike all other female painting of leonardo, looks haughty and sad that is why this is not one of my favorites in his work, sure it's beautiful, but it doesnt gives off an emotion that could amaze me.

The School of Athens - The home of the greatest the most well-known philosophers during the time of early Greeks and Romans until today. In this painting I feel the hunger of knowledge that no books could quench, the feeling of insatiable curiosity to the world that brought us here today. Humans are animals, but the only difference is our intellect, but, in the bible Adam and Eve commited the first sin in the world because of them eating the fruit frm the tree of knowledge. I wonder is curiosity or knowledge a  sin or a gift ? and this painting symbolises ( for me) that you cannot stop a human being to gain knowledge, and  that's the greatest gift that the almighty gave us, the gift of knowing that drives us to learn and be educated, because knowledge can never be stolen from us, and no money can amount what each and every thought we have, and for me this painting conveyed all these emotions that the characters in this panting has.

 THE RENAISSANCE MUSIC

The music of the renaissance is the start of it all. unlike in the middle ages music were jolly and are usually sang by the joker or joggler or the nuns in the church, but during the renaissance music are developed and like literature it became important in the daily life. At least a member of a family throughout Europe knows how to sing, dance, or play an instrument. literature and music during the renaissance period were mostly adapted from the Greeks and the Romans, especially Greeks, they even have a god of music. In this time period many types of music were developed for certain voices, groups, and even events especially masses. Also instruments were made and develop to assist the style of music they created. We owe the people of the Renaissance who develped and created the different styles of music, because it is now the basis of most of the music style today.

LEONARDO DA VINCI

I always imagine Leonardo da Vinci sitting under a tree a pencil between his fingers and a sketch pad in his hands, gazing at the clouds up in the sky, and watching the birds fly high. The dreamer, he is the first ( i think ) to ever dream to fly and like any other inventors and scientist today and erstwhile, he felt the feeling of insatiable hunger for knowledge and always curious about everything in this world. He invented things both practical and impractical, he is one of the most renowed artist in his time and today, maybe that's why he is the basis of being the renaissance man. For me he is like a child, always curious and very intuitive, like a child he always asks questions and tries very hard to find answers and always dream for the impossible, and always tries to find a way to do it. Like any other children Leonardo has a wild imagination  that's maybe the reason to ever think that a man could fly. I even thought that Leonardo was from the future, inventing things that are centuries too advnce for his time, and because of that we achieved so many great inventions and todays generation of inventors have a big shoes to fill, and also because of that our technologies are advancing rapidly, thanks to Leonardo Da vinci, The original Renaissance man.
